Nominee in this year’s Fine Art Photography Awards
Happy to say i woke up this morning to find out I had been recognised overnight as a nominee in the 6th Annual Fine Art Photography Awards. But not just a nominee, it looks as though I came in 4th place – which is just off the podium for anything really exciting… But anyway being a nominee in an international competition like this is pretty cool.
The work I submitted was a selection of my ‘Photographing Time‘ solargraphy whereby I stick up homemade cameras for months on end to capture the transition of the sun during the exposure. The same work has also gained me the titles of Australian Science Photographer of the year and the Ian Willding prize at Gallery M.
My nominee gallery is available on the FAPA website here.
